Our Story

 

Over 30 years ago, Kenneth (Biff) and Lola Biffle had a vision to bring a menu of Hickory Smoked, Kansas City Style BBQ to their hometown of Concordia, Missouri, as well as the region. As a result, Biffle’s Smoke House BBQ opened its doors on June 3rd, 1983!

 

That first menu featured a variety of smoked meats, along with traditional BBQ sides including baked beans and coleslaw straight out of Grandma’s kitchen. But the star of the show was always the sauce – Biffle’s Smoke House BBQ Sauce, Mild and Hot varieties, created from their very own secret family recipe.

 

The business quickly grew, from serving patrons daily at the restaurant, to include catering both on and offsite events such as weddings, anniversaries, holiday parties and other private events.

 

Biff and Lola, along with three generations of children and grandchildren, kept Biffle’s Smoke House BBQ running strong through 2013. It was at that time, Biff and Lola decided to hang up their aprons and move to the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, Arizona. That’s a pretty amazing run!

 

Today, the Biffle family still enjoys that incredible secret recipe sauce in their own homes and now you can too. Biffle’s Smoke House BBQ Sauce is available to order in both Mild and Hot varieties.
